For eight years, I struggled with chronic health issues. I endured surgery after surgery, relentless setbacks, and pain that felt never-ending. At one point, I lost my entire colon. I lost the ability to walk. And in the midst of it all, I lost who I was. I felt trapped in a body that seemed to be turning against me - exhausted, broken, and searching for hope.
But through it all, God never left me.
When I couldn’t stand, He stood in the gap. When I was physically weak, He became my strength. I cried out to Him in moments of fear, frustration, and deep loneliness - and He met me there. What doctors couldn’t fix, God began to restore piece by piece. Slowly, through prayer, faith, and determination, I started to rise again.
In those quiet, difficult moments - when movement was a gift I no longer had - God placed a vision in my heart: Media Luna.
This brand was born not just from a love of fitness or activewear, but from a calling. A calling to create something greater than myself. A calling to remind women of their strength - not just physically, but spiritually. I knew I wasn’t the only one who had ever felt broken, insecure, or like they had lost themselves. I wanted to build something that would help women feel powerful in their bodies again, while never forgetting where true strength comes from.
Today, I move freely. I wake up with energy, gratitude, and purpose. And I don’t take a single step for granted.
